At Innovus, supporting a charity each year is something we take seriously and approach with real care. In 2024, we were proud to work with Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that helps people living with cancer by offering practical advice, emotional support and financial guidance.
Throughout the year, colleagues across the business gave their time, energy and imagination to raise money in a variety of ways. From coffee mornings and raffles to long-distance runs and car washes, the enthusiasm and generosity on display were remarkable.
Making a Big Difference Together
Thanks to everyone who took part or contributed in any way, we raised a total of £30,265 for Macmillan.
The total we raised means a lot, but it’s the effort behind it that really stands out. The Innovus Charity Champions played a huge part in making this happen. They’re a group of colleagues from across the business who meet regularly to plan and run fundraising events throughout the year. Their commitment has helped bring people together and keep things moving in every office. At the same time, plenty of individuals got involved in their own way. Some took on challenges, some organised events, and many simply showed up to support others. It all added up to something we can be
proud of.
Recently, our New Milton office had the opportunity to present a cheque to a Macmillan Fundraising Volunteer, who shared the following:
"We are so grateful to everyone at Innovus for all of the fundraising they have done and the kindness, generosity and commitment they have shown. Because of them we can be there for more people affected by cancer. We’re here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, but we cannot do it without the amazing companies like Innovus who fundraise for us.”
Why Macmillan Matters
Cancer touches the lives of so many, and Macmillan is there to provide support when people need it most. From financial advice to emotional reassurance, their team helps individuals and families deal with the reality of a diagnosis, one step at a time.
At the start of the year, our Managing Director, Steve Perrett, spoke about the partnership:
"We’re delighted to be partnering with Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan provides important support to people affected by cancer, and we are proud to support their work through this partnership. We look forward to working closely with Macmillan to raise funds, increase awareness, and make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by cancer."
