Innovus Summer Event 2024: A Day of Fun, Collaboration, and Giving Back

At Innovus, our core values—Trust, Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Delivery—aren’t just words; they shape everything we do. Our Summer Event 2024, held at the beautiful De Vere Wokefield Estate in Reading, was a true reflection of these principles, bringing over 230 colleagues together to celebrate what makes Innovus unique. Despite the unpredictable weather, the day was packed with fun, collaboration, and opportunities to give back, showing that even when faced with challenges, we remain committed to delivering our best.

The day kicked off with a warm welcome from Managing Director Steve Perrett, who set the tone for a memorable experience. The action-packed event included a series of team-building activities that challenged us both mentally and physically. From building marshmallow towers to racing through problem-solving tasks, the energy was high as teams bonded and collaborated in true Innovus style. One of the day’s most meaningful highlights was the Charity Bike Build for Re-Cycle. Teams worked together to build bicycles destined to improve access to education, healthcare, and jobs for communities in Africa. Knowing that our efforts could have such a positive impact gave everyone an extra boost of motivation.

But the surprises didn’t stop there! Each team also contributed to the creation of a mural representing Innovus’ core values—a visual reminder of our collective strength and commitment. The mural, revealed at the end of the day, now serves as a permanent reminder of what makes Innovus special.

The event was a true reflection of what it means to be part of the Innovus family. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to GOTO Events for organising such a dynamic and adaptable day, and to everyone at Innovus who helped bring it all together.
