On Wednesday 6th May, the Innovus team swapped business attire for black tie and evening gowns, gathering at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, for a night of celebration at the Property Week RESI Awards.
The evening brought together professionals from across the residential property sector to recognise the work, innovation and progress being delivered across the industry, and it was great to be part of it.
While we didn’t take home the top prize, being named finalists in the ‘Professional Services Team of the Year – Residential’ category for both our Building Safety and Lifts Consultancy teams is something we’re proud of.
Our Building Safety team was recognised for its work during a period of significant regulatory change. Over the past year, the team has supported Building Safety Cases across a wide range of residential buildings, delivering Building Safety Case Reports and developing Resident Engagement Strategies that strengthen resident involvement and confidence.
Our Lifts Consultancy team, formed within Innovus last year, was also shortlisted for the impact it has made in a short space of time. Supporting more than 3,500 residential sites, the team has provided independent technical advice that helps clients maintain compliance while avoiding unnecessary costs, with resident safety always front of mind.

Across building safety and lifts consultancy, our focus is on helping clients meet evolving regulatory requirements while keeping resident safety and long-term performance at the centre. It’s great to see that work recognised alongside others across the sector,” said Richard Thwaites, Building Safety and Compliance Director at Innovus.
We were also proud to sponsor the Residential Leader of the Year award, with our Business Development Director, Anthony Laser, presenting the award to Anna Moore of Domna. Anna was recognised by the judges for her strong leadership and impact across the sector.
Beyond the awards, the evening was a valuable opportunity to spend time with clients, catch up with partners and connect with others across the industry. We were pleased to host several of our clients and to see first-hand the breadth of work and innovation happening across residential property.
