Say hello to Jake Colley, our Procurement Manager

When did you join the company, and in what role?

I initially joined the company in 2015 as a compliance administrator in the Asset Compliance team. I then moved into the Procurement Team in 2018 as an interesting opportunity arose.

What does your job entail?
My job entails sourcing and managing high quality suppliers, while also delivering savings for the company. A significant part of my role is also assisting the wider team with their career development and progression.

What is the best part about working here?

The career development opportunities. The company are always looking to upskill and improve its employees. I personally benefited from this by attending its leadership courses and also having my Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification, which was funded by the company.

What is your proudest achievement?

Working my way from a procurement analyst to becoming the manager of the Procurement Team. This is a big achievement for me as it shows that the work I was doing was being noticed and appreciated.

How do you like to spend your spare time?

I am an avid football fan and play regularly every weekend. I find this helps me to unwind and relax, especially after a busy week.
