Innovus Charity

We are proud to be an official corporate charity partner of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Our collaboration will support Macmillan’s mission of providing physical, emotional, and financial support to people affected by cancer across the UK.

It is also an integral part of our ongoing commitment to support charitable causes and make a positive impact in the communities in which we operate. We fully support and encourage our people to take part in a range of fundraising and awareness raising activities, including companywide fundraising events, and volunteer initiatives.

Macmillan ‘Bake Off’ Events

Colleagues whipped up culinary masterpieces to impress judges at ‘Bake Off’ events at our offices. We raised £1,316, match funded by Innovus to make a grand total of £2,632 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Ryan Howarth, Macmillan Cancer Support Relationship Fundraising Manager, says: “We are thrilled to have been chosen as their charity partner in 2023. Our sincere thanks go to everyone involved for their incredible efforts and donations on the day. Macmillan is almost entirely funded by voluntary donations, so we couldn’t do our vital work supporting people living with cancer without their generosity. Their support will help us deliver practical, emotional, and financial help right when people need it most.”

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Our New Milton, Luton, Worcester, and Paignton offices also hosted Coffee Mornings on the 28th of September where colleagues could enjoy a slice of cake and a coffee and raise money for our charity partner in the process.

We held a charity raffle alongside the Coffee Mornings with colleagues purchasing tickets to be in with a chance of winning some very generously donated prizes. These included £500 worth of John Lewis vouchers, two weeks in a Dubai apartment, a Virgin Experience voucher for Lion King theatre tickets and dinner, a luxury hamper, a £100 Amazon voucher, and many more. We are very grateful to our suppliers for donating these prizes and supporting our charity partnership. The total raised from our Coffee Mornings and raffle was an incredible £2,595!

Macmillan Run Bournemouth

Teams of runners completed the Run Bournemouth 5km race in October, raising over £2,000 for the charity.

In total, we have raised over £11,000 since our charity partnership was launched in June.

Steve Perrett, Managing Director of Innovus, adds: “We are delighted to partner with Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan provides invaluable support to people affected by cancer, and we are proud to support this work. We look forward to continue to work closely with Macmillan to raise funds, increase awareness, and make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.”
