At Innovus, supporting our charity partner, Make-A-Wish UK, is something our people care deeply about. This month, three members of our team took fundraising to new heights, completing a 15,000ft skydive to raise money for an important cause.
On Saturday 16 May, Fran Giles, Director of Business Services, Jayne Tomlinson, Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, and Angela Goulding, Client Asset Manager, Business Services, took on the challenge in support of Make-A-Wish UK.
So far, the team has raised £1,465 from 59 supporters, helping Make-A-Wish continue to deliver life-changing wishes for critically ill children across the UK. The skydive itself was self-funded by the participants, meaning all money raised goes directly to the charity.
Reflecting on the experience afterwards, Fran described the jump as “crazy and surreal”, while thanking everyone who donated and supported the fundraiser.
Make-A-Wish UK grants wishes for critically ill children, creating moments that can make a lasting difference for families during incredibly difficult times. As demand for wishes continues to rise, fundraising efforts such as these play an important role in helping the charity meet growing needs.
Whether through organised fundraising, local initiatives or personal challenges, colleagues across Innovus continue to support causes that matter to them. Fran, Jayne and Angela’s skydive is a great example of that commitment in action.
